Name: Kelly "K-Star" Straza

Personality: Kelly is a spirited girl that loves all forms of performance. She always tries to make people smile through her shows and out in the streets. She shows that she does not favor a type of style like cute, beauty, tough, or smart, and likes to find opportunities make things appealing. She has a keen eye to visual detail and loves seeing and thinking of moves outside the box, especially in performances.

Chaos and negativity frustrates her and if enough, she will get aggressive to try and set things right. She has mellowed out a bit the past few years being much more calmer around people than she used to be. But around her team and friends she feels that she can let loose and be a little hyper when she wants.

Bio: Kelly is the only child to an artist and coordinator mother from Sinnoh and trainer father from Kalos, living together in Nimbasa City. Her parents’ work and the life of her hometown inspired her to become a performer with the stage name “K-Star.” The hatching of her first Pokemon, Crystal, was the start of really going through with that dream. She started doing little show performances with her partner on Unova Route 5 as practice and fun. Once she was old enough, Kelly set out with Crystal as well as one her her dad’s Pokemon and it’s child. She traveled to other towns and cities and started performing there, letting the stage name, K-Star be known.
After her first battle tournament, she focused more on getting more Pokemon to fulfill her dream. She expanded her horizons and went to different regions and saw found more Pokemons while performing on stage. With time, Kelly acquired a unique team to cycle through, each Pokemon having a purpose in performance on or off-stage.
Kelly then joined the Battle Test series with her team then and for the first half, did enjoy it. She met new friends and was more inspired to give people performances. Then when chaos started in a riot, Kelly’s usual optimism was crushed down and she became emotionally exhausted in a single day. After the events from the Battle Test concluded, Kelly took a break from performances to recover and regain her stride before she decided to head back onto the stage.

A few years since the Battle Test, Kelly has continued her travels around the world to give people happiness through her performances. She has become well known enough as her job as a performer, as well as other events, that she has sometimes been invited as a guest judge or commentary at small events. When she heard of the Jubilee tournament and noticed a few familiar faces involved, she decided to join to have fun, see Kalos, and meet old friends.

Crystal the Ninetales (Female) – The Fire Show
Flash Fire – Flamethrower|Heatwave|Psyshock|Attract
Kelly’s partner since she hatched from an egg. Crystal has lessened in her vanity, and is much more showing in her mature and kind personality. Crystal has full control of the flame she conjures and enjoys using them for performances. When in an intense battle, she isn’t afraid to let loose and go crazy with the flames. Alongside being the unofficial leader to Kelly’s Pokemon, she is a loving mother to her adopted child, Gem.
Recognizable features: Fur brought forward to cover left side of face, collar fur is curlier than normal Ninetales
Marble the Lopunny (Female) – The Fighting Acrobat
Limber – Sky Uppercut|Bounce|Dizzy Punch|Ice Beam
Marble is the child of Camaieu and Kelly’s mother’s Lopunny. She really looks up to her father and is wants to be more of a fighter like him. She does like to keep up appearances though and does show it off through her acrobatic performances. Marble is fun-loving and very affectionate to her close family and friends, often hugging and nuzzling them. She’s confident in her fighting power and can be a bit smug when in battle.
Recognizable features: She has a large darker patch of fur on her left eye and a small blob of this color on one side of her nose. When in a battle, will have a cloth choker with lacy frills and her Loppunite on it.

Cream the Audino (Female) – The Healing Vocalist
Regenerator – Heal Pulse|Dazzling Gleam|Echoed Voice|Heal Bell
Cream is a sweet and shy Audino that likes to sing and patch up others. However she will be forcefully aggressive to those who try to run away from her medical assistance. Cream is mainly a supporter and stays on the sidelines in battle but when she’s on stage, she will be singing beautiful melodies to the audience.
Recognizable features: Normal Audino color scheme. If in battle, she will equip a sash belt with her Audinite on it.

Rho the Reuniclus (Male) – The Improvising Technician
Overcoat – Psychic|Future Sight|Reflect|Flash Cannon
Kelly found Rho as an egg when he was abandoned. He used to be afraid of a lot of things when he was younger but now has grown to be confident in himself and quick to react even if scared. He is the kind of Pokemon to approach someone rather than let them come to him. Rho has a lot of psychic power, even as a Solosis he could lift an entire room’s furniture when he was scared enough. Rho does his best during Kelly’s performances on the sidelines, coordinating lights, special effects, and props.

Leta the Steenee (Female) – The Shy Mistrel
Oblivious – Magical Leaf|Energy Ball|Grass Whistle|Teeter Dance
When Kelly was recently in Alola, she encountered Leta dancing to herself while using Grass Whistle. She took in the Steenee and helped her gain the confidence to perform in front of a crowd. She is very excitable, especially when entering big cities but is still very shy with social interactions. Leta likes to play music and dance, usually accompanying Cream in shows.
Recognizable features: Normal Steenee however has a tendency to use her sepals to cover her face when faced with interactions

Camaieu the Pangoro (Male) – The Lovable Strongman
Iron Fist – Sky Uppercut|Hammer Arm|Thunder Punch|Dark Pulse
Camaieu, or Cam for short, seems big and tough while fighting but in reality he is a big lovable guy. He tends to dote on his daughter, Marble, especially. Cam was actually the youngest of Kelly’s dad’s Pokemon and given to her to watch over. In terms of relation, Camaieu is like a young uncle to her. Cam is the oldest and strongest of Kelly’s team and acts as the strong man during performances with her. He lifts up the props and sometimes Kelly and the team.

Gem the Alolan Vulpix (Female)* – The Cute Companion
Nature: Naive
When they were in Alola, Kelly and Crystal found a baby shiny Alola Vulpix alone in the rain. They took it to the nearest center where the little ice type imprinted on Crystal. The Ninetales accepted being a mother figure to her and chose the name Gem for her adopted child. The others on the team help out as well to watch her. Gem likes to be out and be close to her adopted mother especially. When Crystal is battling or performing, Gem will watch by Kelly’s side or under the eye of the other Pokemon to watch her mother.
