A beautiful and fair maiden like Maid Marian is always welcoming and caring for others, no matter how frightened one might be when in the presence of royalty like her. The lovely vixen was a kind woman, giving the most sincere smile. Of course, being a lady of class, Maid Marian must always present herself in a well-mannered way. With a gentle bow, curtsying towards a friendly guest, she would welcome anyone to her castle, maybe play a game of badminton to pass the time.

It has been so long since I’ve drawn Maid Marian, and I love how well this one turned out.

Instead of the usual pink dress she is always a lovely in, Marian is in a nice purply gown this time. Gerry wanted her look based on an old piece of concept art of her, where she was in a dress with a more wider gown. He provided some of the colors from another pic with the maiden, since the concept art didn’t have any colors.
