Wow. When you said you were getting started you really meant that. 
I like how you did the hair. Shaved or different levels have been weird at times to do. But that and the bead wrap around both sit really well to me. ^^

added an update...drew in some more defined hands, fixed the face and hair a bit. also added in some feet! always hate drawing those for some reason.

You did a great job. I love the pose and the monk beads. Her partially shaved head can be tricky but you got it right.
