The tea was hardly the most surprising part of the exchange that had taken place after Cosmo had scampered into the room exclaiming that Quincie had laid an egg. As Levi tried to get more explanation out of her before hurrying off to go check on his son, Verdigris couldn't help but think back to his own youth, when he had had an egg with a familiar teal hue shoved into his hands. Levi was gonna freak, understandably so, so Verdi had to be the calm man.

He scooped up Cosmo, who was still freaking out somewhat, and told her, "Come along. Lets give Quincie the opportunity to explain himself, yes?" as he followed Levi to Quincie's room.
