✦ Trait Development:
○ Sarcastic | Verdigris is incredibly sarcastic and comes off like most of the people around him are idiots. This is because this is exactly how he thinks, he doesn't think too highly of the common stranger. He also has a grand old time messing with people and using his advanced vocabulary and skills in linguistics to confuse them.

○ Prideful/Vain | Verdigris very much cares about the way he looks and the way he comes across. He's not one to follow the crowd, he'll gladly wear make-up or glitter or anything that will make him stand out like an absolute peacock. He carries himself in a similar manner, very much I-don't-care-what-you-think. However, he does tend to bottle his emotions to maintain this persona, until the bottle explodes and he turns into an angry/sobbing/anxious mess.

○ Paternal | Despite what most people might think, Verdigris actually loves kids. He loves their potential and that they haven't been 'tainted by society's expectations' yet. He's read quite a bit about child psychology, and is pretty good at child-rearing, as evidenced by his relationship with his daughter Cosmo.

○ Flamboyant | Verdigris, as mentioned above, loves to show off. He feels right at home antagonizing a crowd, which is why he went into the entertainment business as an insult comic in the first place. He loves anything flashy, and isn't afraid to strut his stuff. To the people he likes, he encourages them to be a little extroverted.

○ Clingy | Verdigris grew up basically begging for attention. First living at the nook, then returned by the first woman who adopted him after regular mistreatment, it's given him a nice little case of separation anxiety. Comboed with his extroversion, he occasionally needs one-on-one time, or he starts to become paranoid. This is a little tricky, seeing as he currently lives in the Rattle's Rest with his daughter.

○ - Verdi hated living in the nook after he was returned, it was crowded and filled with drooling crying nincompoops. It's an experience he'd be glad to never experience again. For this reason, he's quite content with a small family, no more than three children.
- Despite what most people think about him around town, Verdi is actually decently liked by the regulars at the Rattle's Rest.
- Verdi's mostly self-taught. He was what we would consider a gifted child, and because of this, hated class. Once he knew the basics, he got the rest of his knowledge from the library.
- Verdi hates being dirty. Bad hair days revolt him, and he'd be content to never see dirt again.
- Some say he used to be a very polite little boy when he was young. Very few people believe that nowadays, but Alma can vouch that he used to be a little angel who hated sounding rude. This changed when he was adopted by his ex-mother, Delphine Sunmaur.
- Verdi chose his surname personally. He specifically chose a name that was the exact opposite of his ex-mother, but just similar so that those who heard his name would feel that touch of familiarity.
