Every morning, I wake up with the thought, 'Wow, the world sure looks nice today. Maybe I'll have a good day for once.', but for some reason or another, it gets crushed as I walk out the door. Even on mornings when I don't see you as I walk out of the lovely trailer I call home, I can still remember you when I get into my car. As the engine starts, I remember all the cold nights at the lake with you. I remember all the kisses between conversations on the hood of the dirty Volvo, looking at the stars on any given summer night. I really shouldn't dwell on something like that, when it was months ago, and I know you got an STD from the girl you cheated on me with. But is it really cheating when we weren't storybook official?
