Description Notes: The Opa was a prideful vessel amongst the crowd and military in Aerah.  Young sailors brought their fathers to the launching of this vessel, and families.  The Opa would hold the annual Naval festivals aboard this vessel to celebrate the generations of families who served with the Navy.  The fourth Main-Battery was removed in 1937 for more room of the festivals.  This picture (above) was taken in 1939 during the first night of the festival that year.

How did the navy feel about having one of their battleships partially disarmed in order to throw a better party aboard it?

What is there to worry about?  The Aerah Empire was at there prime and other countries like the Greck were trying to match their navies.  Plus nothing really was happening anyway.  This vessel was a symbol to those who served in the Aerahwut navy for a while and the festival was to remember those who served in the past.  Almost like a memorial.
