Description
To fit with the Paper Mario Battle system you can only have 2 party members out. However! You can freely swap out your party without wasting your turn (Yes, you can even swap out Mario). The Battle Commands are: Tattle, Attack, Special, Item, Tactics.

Tattle has the user call upon Frogfucius who will impart wisdom about the targeted enemy. (The coin you help Mallow get is now a talisman that lets Frogfucius talk to the holder).

Attack has the user perform a basic attack (Mario has both the Jump and Hammer, while everyone else has 1 standard attack).

Special allows you to spend FP to perform special moves. Instead of being unlocked by Level, Special Moves are unlocked with Stars. When you get a star all party members unlock a Special Move.

Items are items.

Tactics lets you flee, swap out party members, guard, charge, pretty much misc battle commands.

The simplified HP and FP can display exact numbers if you press Select.

The TTYD Battle Spinner is back (and the audience).

The Paper Mario Badge system would be here too. There'd be 2 kinds of Badges, generic ones (like Flower Saver, HP Plus, Zap Tap, etc) Then character specific ones (Mario'd have a Hammer Toss Badge or a Shell Kick Badge, while Mallow'd have a Healing Rain or Thunderbolt badge, Bowser would have a Chomp Throw Badge, etc) The character badges essentially give the character access to their various weapon equipment moves from Mario RPG (Since Paper Mario doesn't use a weapon equipment system).
