Description My sculpture professor introduced Alginate to the class by making a mix of it and pouring a bit of it into each student's cupped hands. When the Alginate had set, I coated the outside of shape with plaster, and this was the final result after the Alginate was taken out. Alginate is a great material to use since it can lift a lot of small details (like fingernails, fingerprints, wrinkles in the hands)
