I didn't like the series this mug came from -- in fact I threw away 3 out of 5. It's got a nice handsome handle, but the walls of the mug are way too thick. It's gotta weigh like two pounds. ... which is weird, because this series of mugs were thrown using exactly two pounds of clay in the first place ...

Anyway, I do like the glaze accident that happened here. I overlapped the glazes slightly, and a gold gradient appeared, which all in all makes this a heavy but gorgeous mug.
