I downloaded Vortex and I'm currently using Winamp 5.552 along with MSPP 1.0. When I open Vortex I get a ton of runtime errors and it crashes Winamp. It won't let me use the skin. Any idea why?

I also have this problem. I can get it to start up, but the instant I try to do anything like just hit the play button, winamp crashes. I really wish I could fix it so it would work. It definitely is the top skin for winamp. It is amazing.

This really is amazing, but when i try to download the AVS settings i get a trojan virus detected.

Absolutely amazing skin from start to finish. Every detail of this skin is superb. This is probably the best Winamp skin I have personally ever seen.

Its almost there.......
I just wish all the awesome "spectum displays" inside there were of a far greater saturation!
it would look for much more dynamic,!! if they were super-neon blue !, it's to wish-washy
and it is the focal point of the skin... the "little speakers" thing are bit cheesy, so glad u can turn them off !!
but id say drop them......
the only other thing is the small second display window that appears at bottom of screen, display next track e.t.c
looks really bad, and would befinit from just being really really simple.......
but all that aside....... this is a potentially mindblowing skin !!...... i would LOVE to see further refinements
lesss of those "Dotty" radio box type buttons , just keep minimilising it!.......it would give it a more of a mature
less cheesy feel.........
and those spectrum displays!! MY GOD, U HAVE TO BRING THEM OUT!, make them NEON!, LUCID!

Guys, this is an AWESOME skin! You did a FANTASTIC job! I LOVE the tray that shows the album art - WICKED!
However, it seems to use a HUGE amount of CPU resources. My CPU runs at between 91% and 97% when I use the skin. Is there anything that I can do to bring that count down?

Awsome skin guys. Only trouble is that on my machine it runs a little too slow for my taste, but I'll certainly be using it in the future if I buy a better PC
LOVE the glow effect behind the main window, especially with it set to bass 
I will say that I have experienced a few bugs with it though, but I think that's because I havent installed the advanced plugin thing correctly.

I'm pretty split on this. Apart from it having a whole bunch of nice features and cool modes like the full screen one - thumbs up! I find this one quite hard to enjoy. It's very laggy on my machine (haven't downloaded the extra plugin) and it doesn't come off as very userfriendly. To be honest i don't really think the graphics do it justice. There's too much of a mix of styles going on between the modes (sloppy icon-work and lots of artifacts too). This is however, imo, quite invevitable when many people work on one project together.

looks good, graphic and design wise it's not the most original thing i've seen. honestly, i really doubt i'd use it, though i no longer use winamp so it doesn't much matter. i do like the backlight vis and the cover art window though. dashboard mode would be handy. good job.
