Description
a town whose ocean is drained of water and the source of such an event presently unknown. in the distance, past the now dried coast littered with old and nearly forgotten shipwrecks, can be seen a wall of steadily creeping waves inching closer and closer to the small town. our party consisted of a bloodhunter, a paladin, a sorcerer, a barbarian, rouge, fighter, warlock, cleric and of coarse a monk by the name of chan jackie. his ways with alcohol are eccentric, volatile at worst, often jumping on any opportunity to get his hands on anything with an alcohol percentage, and always carrying around a keg of ale, ready to drink passionately during his rests.

on their quest to stop the wave from crashing into the town, the party had encountered a lighthouse, renovated from a giants...excrement disposal unit and had found themselves in its underground area where a mound of coprolite had formed an island above shallow waters. to the side lead into another section of the cave where a magnificent crystal standing still, glowing along the side of the wall and three hybrid figures of humanoids and sea life engage in combat with the party once close enough. the creatures are defeated and all that remains is the crystal and the party.

the party hears the god of the ocean speak, the source of the massive wave in the distance over the coast, planning on drowning the world (or something like that, i wasnt paying attention) had managed to convince the fighter, rouge, cleric and warlock into joining his cause, leaving the paladin, bloodhunter, sorcerer and monk to fight them (the barbarian was doing something else.

the fight was dramatic, the water level rose steadily but chan jackie unfortunately couldnt stay alive, and with the warlock holding his dying corpse over his shoulder and head under the water, chan goes with with a bottle of whiskey he had found while exploring one of the boats in the coast in his fingers and his thumb in the air as the water slowly encased him and the warlock aloowed his now dead body to sink under the water and to the bottom.

this was in a dnd game last week and was very much the most iconic death of all of my characters, terminator inspired of coarse because that is also quite an iconic death. way of the drunken fist, very fun to play
