Its a very strong piece of plastic I picked up at a pawn shop. It had really cool brass ends with a bunch of bike tire release valves in it. Kinda odd.

Awesome! I love the design, it looks really natural, like it's actually been used to fight sky pirates and things of that sort.

did you make the leather gauntlet part yourself or did you buy that and attach everything onto it?

if you made it what was the process of doing so? if you bought it...where? thanks looks great!!

I make all my leather work.
All you do is draw out a stencil, cut it out of leather, tool it, and attach some buckles.

Thanks

very clever...I was told to use tooling leather to be able to carve into it. that true or just any wet leather will do? Also I have no experience in dyeing the stuff to get that worn down realiistic feel you have going on, any tips on that? Sorry If I'm asking too much I'm just really anxious to jump into using leather soon

Tooling leather for sure. As for dyeing, i learned from experience (the best way). I use eco-flo dyes instead of using fiebings. Less messy and you can antique way easier. For giving it that aged look, try experimenting with atom wax after dying it, rub it in with wool or sponge. And feel free to ask away, i dont mind answering questions, although i might keep a few tricks a secret
