My church craft sale is coming up and I was thinking of what I could make that would sell well to support my church and I didn't have to think far- EVERYONE has minion fever! So I made a bunch of mini minions magnets and I think they are just perfect for back to school for lockers and they look adorable hanging from my dorm fridge
I made twenty with many different combinations: spiky hair, smooth hair, one eyes or two eyes! I've never made so many of the same thing before but it looks so cool to have a little army of so many tiny little minions. These will be for sale online so check back!Special thanks to my little sister for letting me use her hands for the picture

It's a process, ahahahah I start off making a ton of yellow ovals and do the same step a zillion times untill I get a ton of minions!

What do you make the ovals out of? Mys sons birthday is coming up and we are doing the minion theme. I want to make a bunch of these. I am crafty but have never done something like this so I dont even know what kind of materials to buy. Lol

It' sculpey polymer clay- It's super fun and easy to use! The instructions are all on the package and you can bake it in a regular oven rather than needing a kiln like regular clay! Otherwise if it's for a birthday party I've been told fondant has similar consistency and they would be so cute on top of cupcakes

I worked on all 20 over the course of 3 days! At first it was only small batches (hah I feel like I'm talking about cookies) but my last batch I made eleven at once! I'm in the process of setting up an etsy but now I'm actually all out of minions! My friends, family and church bought them all up so maybe I'll have to make another batch once my hands aren't so sore!

I haven't actually picked a price yet! I just posted it on facebook and people commented on it saying to set one aside for them! I'm scared about pricing since I need to be fair to myself but also I can't over charge my friends and family!

And I totally feel you! I always make sculptures as birthday gifts so I have no reason to charge for them! And now that people want to buy them for no occasion I'm like WHAT DO I DOOOO?
