The deadline was oct 19th.

won first place, so her story idea was the one I picked.
So the idea was hers, but I wrote the story

Beast Boy's Powers.

“Good Morning world!!!” Our favorite green changeling said sitting up in bed.

He wasn’t sure why but all of the sudden he felt a little funny...not bad exactly-but just weird...then-
“SNORT SNORT SNORT-wha?”
He had changed into a pig for about 3 seconds then back again without even trying...

“huh thats-CA CAWWWW,” he had changed into a crow “...weird! Um...maybe I just need some breakfast.”
He said rubbing the back of his neck.

He headed down into the common room...
“Mornin’ Dudes! Dudettes...” He said popping up beside Starfire

They greeted him, Cyborg was busy making pancakes, they smelled great.
He placed some in front of BB-just as he took his first bite...he turned into an ostrich, then back again...

“Aw, man!”
“My cookings not that bad is it?” Cy said a bit hurt
“Naw...”

“What was that?” Robin asked
“Um, heh...kinda has been happening since I woke up...”
“Beast Boy, you should have told us if you were having a problem with your powers.”
“Yeah, well I was hoping it would just go away.”

“C’mon BB let’s take you to the lab.” Cy said

They all went down, Cy hooked all sorts of wires up to him, and ran all the diagnostics he could think of...

“Sorry BB, but I can’t find anything wrong with ya, maybe it’s puberty?”
“DUDE! Iv’e already been through that!”
“Oh...uh, heh, my bad.”

Robin walked into the room
“Beast Boy...I crashed three computers, and I can’t seem to find anything on what you are going through.”
“Figures...how many green people that can turn into animals do you know?”
“Good point. Sorry.”

Starfire gasped “I KNOW!”
she floated out of the room and then returned a few moments later.
“Here Beast Boy!”
She jammed a spoon into his mouth before he could ask what it was-his eyes got as big as watermelons
“EW!,” He said spitting “Star, what is that stuff?”
“Juice from rotten spring flowers of the goupta tree! They are known to cure many common ailments.”
“Okay-RAWRRRRRRRRRRR(lion), AR AR AR(seal), Ooooh oooh oooh
AH AH AH.(monkey). Crap!(BB!)”
Beast boy sighed...
Raven came over-”I know something that might work. Come with me.”
She said taking his hand and leading him to her room....when they got there, she rifled through her trunk for a something.

Beast Boy felt a little awkward standing in her room, seeing as the only times he had been in there he had had his life threatened. “Uhm...Rae?”
“I found it.”
“Found what?”
“We’re going to use meditation.”

They spent hours, days, weeks even, trying to get the green goof to be able to focus his energy.

“Beast Boy this will be over faster if you just focus!”
“Rae I can’t think about anything but my stomach right now...we haven't had a break since yesterday!”

She rubbed the space between her eyes ‘how can anyone be so scatter brained?’ she thought ’I can go several days without eating...’.

“Fine. If it will stop you from whining, go and get something to eat.”
“THANKYOU!” He yelled and ran out of the room.

She sighed...maybe she needed a break from him. One could only take so much Beast
Boy.

After that BB was able to focus a little bit better...they continued on for a few more days.

Raven reached in front of herself and took his hands.

“Close your eyes, breath deeply...if you can feel yourself starting to change, just relax, and calmly focus all your energy on being human.”

Beast boy started to sprout a few feathers...he squinched up his face muscles
...then went back to his regular self.
“I did it!! It worked! I’m cured!!”

In his excitement he forgot to thank Raven for her help, and rushed out of the room to tell the others.

When Raven found the others, they were all congratulating Beast Boy....

“Well alright lil’ dude! Glad for ya.”
“Awesome Beast boy.”
“Oh I am exceedingly full of joy for you, friend!”

Raven not really thinking before she spoke, which by the way, was rare, but perhaps it was because she was feeling a new emotion, mumbled out;
“Well I guess you don't need me anymore...”

She was met by the shocked faces of the other titans...suddenly realizing that she actually said that out loud, and getting very hot, ran up to her room, and locked the door.

She stayed in there practically forever, they tried everything they could think of to get her out, but it didn’t work ...and she wouldn't reply, so they had no idea whether she was alright or not.

Until she found a note that was slipped under her door...

Meet Me On The Roof At 6:00PM,
BB

She came, only to find Beast Boy standing there with one single blue Carnation, (her favorite flower).

“Raven, I’ll always need you.” He said.

She turned away...mostly because she didn't want him to see her blushing...she felt his hand on her arm, “Don’t leave...” She looked into his quivering green eyes...
“Beast Boy, I don’t think-”
“Raven, stop. I love you, you probably think I’m just crazy and this is some passing phase of my idiot-isum. Don’t look at me like that...I knew from the day I met you that there was something special about you, I didn’t know what it was then, but I do now...”

Then as the emotions were pouring, his voice cracking a little, he kissed her, not holding her making sure she wouldn’t walk away, just a gentle caress of the lips.
