It's all freezing in Scandinavia - at least in my part of it - so I wanted to head on into soon-to-be weekend with a little sunshine
I really like practicing my anime pencil swing, even though I may never turn it into something more than what it is 
Just as long as it make happy 
"You do know there's other girls, right?"

"And that Lucy is just lines?"
"That's the best part?"

"In that way, she is nothing more - or less - than what I make her to be?"

This is very-very good character replication I should say.
Drawings like manga, anime (and all other stuff) - are just images, graphical information, fake characters, fake stories. But there is still something about it, right? And this something is what this graphical information is made for - to cause emotions, feelings, it's what you actually mentioned as "nothing more - or less - than what I make her to be".
Your drawings can be not perfect, inaccurate like mine ones, sometimes even messy, but if your drawing doing it's mission, then it can be defined as good no matter how bad it looks.
