yea great work, u kept the overall balance very well, its easy to get stale in areas when u use a technique like circulism, but here u keep the overall tone well balanced with subtly worked highlights that are very difficult to master. The wings and halo are quite subtle and are perhaps justified, they almost and I do stress almost pull the piece into cliche, were it not for the fact that you have conveyed such a touching sense of sweetness and love in the portrait that is deeper than mere sentimentality. Your friends must be very happy with the result and will no doubt treasure this drawing for many years. Again, great.

Thank you very much for you comment...it is not pointilism (which u usually use with pen or ink), but everyone calls it circulism...basically you draw by applying small circles until you achive desired shade. It is quite consuming technique but ver rewarding...there are so many skilled artists who can do miracles with this technique..( I am the bottom end ;o))

Thank you for your comment and interest...Bristol Vellum is a type of paper, Vellum is a type of texture as oppose to Smooth. The texture I created was due to the paper texture, plus the technique called circulism, or appying graphite in small circles.

Thank you very much for the comment!!! Well, initially that was my plan to make her more devilish, but then I changed my mind and make her an angel. I do not think that I will do an evil version, though.
