More watercolour practice. And why not make it a Zelda fanart?
I already got the idea to paint Hilda when I made my "Princess of Purple" ATC.

It's so weird! I'm used to being able to paint a layer, then let it dry and go over with another colour - e.g. to paint detail, or a pattern. But with my Schmincke watercolours, I just smudge the paint layer underneath everytime, no matter how long I've let it dry... That opens a lot of possibilites - it's a bit like painting with oil - but I also find it very difficult.
Also I tried using salt again... and the Schmincke watercolours kinda work like glue with it! I could hardly get the salt off again and there was no effect. The sticky salt is also the reason why the staff looks kind of blurry on the edges (the staff generally drove me nuts, grr...)
Otherwise, this was fun. xD Any advice?
