Great shot. On the full size it is a little soft. Motion blur?
Lovely model. Sort of iconic. Texan or country.
Nice gallery you have. I'm envious of some of the ladies you've had the chance to work with.

Thanks for your comments. Β
I agree it's a little soft, since it was a flash I can't blame motion blur, most likely my error in not getting the focus where it should have been.
Thanks for keeping me on my game.

We all do it occasionally. I just mentioned it in case you missed it and didn't mean any offense. I remember one photographer I spoke to about softness because every shot was out of focus. He said it was his style and I was cool with that, but to my eye it was sharp then out like normal DoF, and it wasn't soft in places, it was just out of focus everywhere. For me it was like talking to someone with a fly on their face. ha.
Your shot is great and probably the majority would never notice, but she was such a great model I thought I'd mention.

Thanks, I appreciate well informed comments.
I always had problems focusing with the camera I was using back then, when I upgraded to a better camera the focusing problems disappeared and it made photography so much more rewarding.

No worries. Better gear is good. I bet it was a relief to realise it was the gear and not you. Enjoy.
