Looks almost spiderwebby. It's a nice symmetri you've got going here. If I may offer a little critisism (from someone who knows nothing about this, so my opinion is entirely unfounded 
Still great. I wouldn't be surprised if he showed up in the comic like this!

Um. There are stripes/borders/"tapes" of legs (brown parts) running down the painting. They make the painting look kinda divided right now (which, admittedly, makes it more symmetrical, which may be what you were going for?). I'd just make them connect to the coloured parts, but maybe that's just personal taste

Thanks for your criticism! I felt like I had to make most of them a bit dull in color so I could have the standout of the pattern, otherwise it looked like a lot of nonsense. I'm not sure what you mean by the second part though, with the leg stripes?
