I heard one badass story where some Soviet diplomats were kidnapped and held for ransom by Lebanese terrorists. The Spetnaz hunted their Lebanese associates down and sent their heads to the terrorist kidnappers. The Soviet diplomats were returned without incident. I would like to see a little of that kind of ruthlessness directed at ISIS, Al-queda or any of these other Islamist animals. Spetnaz do not play games.

Yeah, i heard this one too. I don't really think guys like isis really care about their people that much though. I mean, hell, they use them as living bombs, why would they?

At the very least they know personal violence will be met with even more personal violence. I think it has to be a scarier fate than a bomb drop. I'm sure the Spetnaz would enjoy doing the work.
