Description This too, must be among the most fucked up pieces I've created thus far. Have to work with the texture a bit. This is actually a mix of two images. The original photo and the textures. I classified it as a manipulation, so that the Purists(tms) can't whine about the slight use of stamp tool.

Thanks. I used a latex mask with the model's face. He then contorts his mouth through the mask. Make sense?

You know...
I can see why this might constitute as a frightening... or disturbing piece... but I actually really feel for this creature.

The title suggests a long term silence... perhaps forced... perhaps out of necessity... perhaps out of an undesirable circumstance. Intense suffocation. His pained expression, and the fact that his eyes seem to be missing, tells me that this creature has been within a perpetual hell of sorts.... for quite some time. Unable to express any sound or sign of discomfort.

Language, I wonder... how many times did he try to scream out, before he forced his way to the surface? And does he even make a sound?

Intriguing.

It's hard to put it into words really. The face distorted beyond recognition and the mouth being pulled at as if to prevent the words coming out seems to me to be like a struggle to speak. Kind of. Almost like we are forced to abandon language to be understood, if that makes any sense.

Seriously, my model just came up with this pose on his own... I doubt he's even seen the Hellraiser movies. Thus this is not a "tribute" to the Chatterer-character of series.
