Moving on to part 3 of my "Drawing Sonic in 10 different styles from various fetish artists" challenge, we've got the one and only Countfire!

Now, Countfire is very known for making some of the best tickle and general fetish related comics and storylines with a wide plethora of characters such as Pawmela Meowz, Earsy Kash and Red I. Ratt just to name a few... Seriously, he's got a whole universe set up... The Countverse... C. C. U.? Fireverse...? XD

So, my goal for today is to try and draw Sonic as a character that could belong in that animal universe of his, sort of... Now, I know that in Pawmela's universe, the folks usually wear pants and are barefoot, but with Sonic it's the opposite... Because he's SPECIAL! XD But, yeah, in all seriousness, I think that specific detail would make Sonic stand out more as a character in that universe. And when people as to WHY he doesn't wear pants... Simple; He feels as if they restrict his legs and cap off his limitations when it comes to running!

Now, this style was pretty unique, because the characters are not very detail heavy, they're simplistic, but still, we're talking about an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog here, so, how does one convey that same hedgehog's characteristics into that sort of mindset. If that makes sense... I decided to base this design off of Sonic's AOSTH look, or the American box-art for the Genesis Sonic Trilogy, simply because I could then have the excuse that Countfire would definitely try and go for the spike mohawk aesthetic while still adding in a few spikes here and there to really sell the whole hedgehog-ish look.

What comes after is pretty simple. Keep the lines thin, try not to go too crazy with anatomy, mix sharper and rounder shapes together to give that cartooney feel to it... And when it's time for the shadows, grab an airbrush tool and simple pass a soft thin line across the edges of where you'd think the shadows would go. Yeah, don't go too crazy with those either. Small circles for eyes and large, sausage shaped shoes and yeah, that's basically it!

I'm really satisfied with how this turned out! Sonic looks just as if he could belong in Pawmela's universe of characters! Sonic. T. Hedgehog, fastest hedgehog in the city, always after a hot, tasty chily dog! I could definitely see Sonic trying to get his hands on Pawmela's toe ring as in to like, try and activate a portal to somewhere! Inspiration maybe, Mr. Countfire...? If you happen to see this... ? 7u7
