Gaia commissies are fun

Not to be a bother, but how do you do that nice gradient on pencil? I've tried but don't know the proper technique to do more than one color. The way I do it for inked outlines doesn't work well with pencil.

I do it in photoshop. If you've got photoshop, its really easy to do. You can do it with pretty much any version, too. If you have photoshop I can teach you how but for traditional, i'm clueless XD

Yeah, I just want to know how to make the pretty different color gradients on a scanned pencil drawing so its not all boring and gray. Thanks!

okies! umm first you add a layer, and then you set it on overlay (go to the drop down menu above where your layer's thumbnails are shown) and then theres a little icon underneath where the drop down menu is that looks like a little circle that is half dark and half light, so you click on that and a little menu should drop down from that and you click gradient and a window should pop up, and in there you pick out a color combination you like (rainbow, for example. they are pre-made for you, all you have to do is pick one.) and then you click oK! But you HAVE to MAKE SURE the layer you add is on overlay, or it won't work. have fun and make sure you post something with a pretty gradient soon!

(hope that made sense to you..)

Nice pic! I was thinking just the other day about JRock. I was thinking that from now on im gonna call religious rock music JRock (short for Jesus Rock) and im going to assume that whenever anyone uses it it is for that. This, of course, is extremely interesting for you......... <3
