If you made this available as a print I'd have this on my wall. It really captures the spirit of the Equalist movement and Amon's goals, and the colors are excellent.

I think what they did with the Equalists was amazing. Here is an organization that actually has a legit arguement and is able to beat benders with nothing but their own devices. Too bad about how they ended...

What "legit argument" are you talking about? The equalists weren't interested in peace or justice, although Amon may have fooled some of his followers into thinking that. They were only interested in power.

Obviously there was inequality among non-benders and benders. I didn't see a non-bender on the United Republic Council.

I don't think they ever established if they were benders or not. But the fact that Amon was taking away bender's bending is like cutting out singer's tongues because they can sing good and thus make more money, or like disfiguring hollywood stars' faces so that they can't act and make more money.... it's jealousy and envy, not a quest for equality.

Mm-hmm. And how many non-bending cops WERE on the police before Amon, after all? Can you name even one?

Love he poster but what he's fighting for isn't exactly equality, more of a 'cleansing'. I always found the name kinda weird.
Great Work!!

The revolution has a point. Amon should be beaten by Korra, he is too extreme. But Korra should lead the Equalists.

hi! sorry to just randomly reply to you but I saw your comment and was like "somebody else has seen the new episode!!" so I had to rant. anyway, I think Amon might be able to resist bloodbending because of like having a spiritual control over his body I mean he never flinches not even when Korra shot fire right at him. Maybe he's Bumi, Aang's other son?

Oh no problem! I love discussions about the new episode! (oh! And all of this is in good discussion humor! )
You make a good point, Amon may have been able to unlock all of his chakras, and achieve spiritual balance. But would that give him the ability to resist other's bending? From what we've see with Tarrlock, and of course, Sparky-Sparky Boom Man, there are people with extraordinary abilities here in the four nations. Do you think Amon is one of those people?
He does seem unfazed by bending attacks. Does that mean he has been around bending all his life, getting him used to attacks? He may have trained with benders, getting used to the power and strength of them, and learning their weaknesses. That also brings up the point, did Amon grow up in the underbelly of the city, among the Triple Threat Triads?
I do have to say that I doubt Amon is Aang's son, Bumi. However, that is not to say he is not one of the first generation's children. With his fighting style, and unfazness (new word!) would you think he is Ty Lee's descendant? What do you think?

He definitely could be Ty Lee's son and maybe made up that story about his parents. But what I was thinking is that since at first, he struggled to walk while being bloodbent is that maybe that's because it was affecting his physical side and noticed how he paused an then started walking. Maybe he has some spiritual powers or that there more to enrgybending than just taking away bending. I mean Aang was able to resist blood bending when he was in the avatar state (which is when he is most spiritual) and a little bit outside of it. He is pretty spiritual regularly so maybe Amons the same only with more spiritualness (I'm saying spiritual a lot XD)

No idea. Probably not long after the finale because there wasn't that much wait between books in the first series.
