Having done a lot of traditional art lately I've faced again the struggle of scanning. This particular piece - as it has the textured gold paint - was not possible to scan at all so I tried my best with a camera and photoshop. The result is decent, yet I still think the only way it looks good is in person. My experiments with mixed media turned out pretty good.
Rawr this mon is too difficult to draw. Should have stuck to digital honestly.

Despite I've testet the horrors of scan myself, I think this is absolutely fantastic in any case

Scanning/uploading an image of traditional work is usually a hassle. I do agree that they tend to look best in person :')

Then again, even digital art looks better as a print instead of on the screen. Maybe we just look at things differently on paper. Usually I only notice mistakes in my traditional pieces once I take a picture of them, heh.
