Gotta say, I've become quite the Godzilla nerd over the last few years, to no small part thanks to Legendary's fantastic new design for him and the ever improving movies. Heck, my husband managed to get me to watch the original from 1954 - and I HATE old movies! I've seen GVK three times now and I'm still excited as hell to go see it in an IMAX theatre next Wednesday. My husband might be my spouse, Eugene from Animal Crossing might be my boyfriend, but Godzilla is the one I dream about on lonely nights. Read into that as you will.
So it was a matter of time before I would make fanart of this bad boy.
Overall quite happy with how the painting looks. It's my second biggest acrylic work so far and didn't take too long to make after a tedious planning process. Really do love how it looks on our living room wall though~ Our house needs more giant nerd paintings. There can never be enough.
