I was reading 's Fanfic and I just wanted to draw Talra, who belongs to PlushieBeauty as well.I imagined her with slim limbs and a more "emerging" from childhood kind of look since she's still just a kid really. I love the brooding look I gave her. Originally, she was going to wear a sort of babydoll shirt with a pleated skirt but then I remembered... 1950'S MAN. So I scrapped it and gave her a rather typical dress any teen would've been wearing during the 50s. And I was tempted to draw flats on her feet... She's got pretty feet. Like a frickin' model.
Oh well. Also, the splat behind her is blood. Green alien blood. Yes. Just to add a touch of macabre to this picture.
Talra's face came easily but her hair caused me pain and woe. In the original pic which I used for reference, the hair covers one eye but I thought "AW FUDGE IT (sorry PB) I'll just draw her with her bangs pushed back!" Which turned out nice and easy to manage.

Wow I love how you did her dress, and the blood, kind of represents her inner turmoil about her situation. Very, I'm going to draw another picture of her, of when they found her, beaten and bruised.

I like the hair, it's not really changed, it looks as if she pulled back a bit, it's very nice, and I like the expression she has. Oh my new pic of Talra is up.
