It's amazing! I've been thinking about doing something like this for a very long time. One question though how did you make the skull?

Cheers!
The skull is made of plaster. I made a mould from a skull that I bought.

oh I see and your welcome! I've been looking for skull to work from but can't find one with a good depth of detail.

That's amazing!
(It kinda reminds me of the biomechanic project I did at my secondary school)
How long did it take you to do that?

I have been working on this one on and off for the past year and a half.
But in total it probably has over 10 hours of work put into it... with a little sweat and blood as well!
All of my Bio Mechanical themed sculptures are works that i have started almost two years ago and only just got around to finishing because of one thing or another. It's simply a hobby for me.

Yeah. Most things like that require time for it to be done. I get about 10 hours or so a fortnight because i'm a BTEC in Art but sometimes i'm away for some days so it can take longer.

Still looks good, though!

I actually like it that i don't do it at once. It give me time to think up ideas. I always have a rough idea of what i want to do on each piece... but depending on the materials and if something else come to mind, that could all change!

looks great. if you add some color and classify as "hand painted" the price can go up.

Cheers Mugshotpro!
The theme of the pieces that i'm doing just now are very basic, greys/white/black. It's a subtle look that accents the textures of the piece when hit by the light. I feel that if it has this basic colour style then the person that views it will take more time to notice the finer details.

But thank you very much for your opinion and i may well use more or brighter colours in a future theme.

i'd say about $500-1000?
That's just my opinion,
though.

It's... good point! lol

I'd guess about 12inches tall and a little shorter in width.

D'you think it'd be worth making/
purchasing a glass?! display case
for it? It might give the sculpture
more of a proffesional touch.

I forgot to mention that this and all my pieces even though i use spray paint at a base coat, are very much hand painted with various types of paint.
Thanks for pointing that out, I'll need to put that in the description.

Cheers!
