Description
Zira and her grandmother, Hazira, don't exactly see eye-to-eye. After Zira's younger sister was born, Hazira favored her over Zira and eventually her brothers when they were born.

In the beginning, Zira did love her grandmother. As time progressed, she began to despise her, seeing she was an overweight, messy lioness who never bathed anymore, favored her sister and let her get away with physical harm to herself and her younger brothers, and did nothing but shout and try to be in control.

Zira gradually grew fed up, and began to rise above her grandmother with age. Hazira disliked this greatly. How dare her teenage granddaughter talk back? Sometimes, she would become so furious she would strike the young Zira across the face...

I'm not sure how much I like the shading done here, or Zira's huge eyes. I know she has big eyes, but they turned out more almond-y than I intended...
