OK, new theory. The modern Sherlock and the original ACD Sherlock are the exact same person, only the modern Sherlock came first. He and John (and possibly Moriarty) were tagged by a Weeping Angel and sent back to Victorian era London. They made the best of their situation and eventually adapted. Then John, lacking a computer with which to blog, compensated by going to ACD with his adventures, much to Sherlock's chagrin.
