This is something I've had planned for awhile but never got around to because honestly i hate drawing mech stuff, all the LITTLE details are such a plain in the ass, but its all worth it in the end and I've got to say I'm very pleased how this turned out, and what you are looking at is a rough sketch of Mecha Elasmo internal frame and components. Now the next version of this will be a cleaned up and outline with some changes.Related content

Usually, if I do mech drawings, i tend to give them panels or armor to hide away some of the major mech stuff. Keep in mind, this monsters are heavy hitters, so it doesn't hurt to have some strong armor. Yeah, this is the inner workings of the kikaiju, so that's ok, but it just a hint.Β
By the way, it looks awesome.

Another trick that I use when drawing mecha is that I use the same process I use when drawing insects. Granted, you want to make it appear very unnatural looking with the former.Β
