you cant get blank ones, all Marvel masterpieces were official sets produced by marvel and upperdeck, they were contracted out to artists with strict tracking and control to maintain numbering integrity.

if you've seen blank ones, then those are bootlegs.

Great poses! I personally really like Stature, but I'm always biased towards her.

Great to see AraΓ±a and the Young Avengers getting the trading card treatment.

Howard looks kind of neat in this art style as well. Though I thought he wasn't allowed to smoke any more. (Joe Quesada's very outspoken about not wanting to show Marvel's characters smoking.)

That Nick Fury is badass. And nice to see the Young Avengers represented (just recently started enjoying that book - I stayed away fearing they were clones of the originals or something)

i initially loved the characters...but the majority of them have the LAMEST origins ( they might as well be clones)

I love the New Avengers stuff! Isn't the Iron Kid or Iron Lad or whatvere really Kang when he was young or something?

These are impressive...look printed rather than hand drawn! Excellent!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

thawk In reply to skulljammer [2007-08-24 05:21:10 +0000 UTC]

That fact that Howard's movie didn't win just shows how out of touch the Oscar voting committee truely is.

Also, your work is awesome.

It looked like it was made with the same budget as an episode of baywatch.
Tell you what though. The Dolf Lungdren Punisher was actually loads better then the recent shambles.

Hungrysparrow In reply to skulljammer [2007-08-24 14:06:07 +0000 UTC]

You are talking about the Travolta one? Or is there a sequel I haven't heard about. How was it made?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

skulljammer In reply to Hungrysparrow [2007-08-24 17:55:26 +0000 UTC]

the travolta one, they fought and fought to get that movie made and as they started the studio kept pulling back on the budget to get it scrapped but the director fought to have it made and spent alot of money on it out of pocket. the reason it was filmed in miami was due to the city letting them film for free, the original intent was to film in New york. Major actors also left the project due to the pay cuts but Tom Jane and travolta and practiclly the entire cast did the movie for under scale...I have much respect for the makers of that film and I enjoyed the movie.
