Description

The Skullpilot logo design was a simple concept, combining a simple skull illustration with the shoulder epaulets worn on the uniforms of airline pilots. The epaulets for a pilot comprise of (usually) four gold stripes on a black background. So I split the skull into four sections, colored gold, and chose to use a dark blue background color instead of black.

I pondered over-complicating the the logo for a while by adding a kind of trim color, and I kind of liked the red trim. But in the end decided to stick with the simple basic design.
