I personally really liked this book, it was a really good way to end the arc. There's a lot of things I would've changed but it kept me entertained so it was good. I just wish that someone else died instead of,,,, yeah,,,,

ANYWAY this scene was frickin SICK. It was nice to see Firestar's character again! A cat who loves to fight and be in drama that doesn't concern him xD having him be a POV character was not what anyone saw coming but it was really cool! Although it would've also been cool for it to be Brindleface who was speaking to Rootspring. She's Ashfur's mother so it would've been so impactful if she just showed up to fight. Maybe Ashfur would've been distracted and someone wouldn't have had to die

yeah, I don't even remember the last time I cried while reading a Warriors book. But the scenes after her death was really something and I just could... feel Rootspring's grief. Not to mention Ivypool and Fernsong's grief
I do think it's quite funny that her body just. poofed! disappeared! I don't know why they had that happen? I don't get how that would be possible? when Antpelt's spirit got killed in the Dark Forest he was just found dead in his den? I get that she wasn't killed by wounds and she drowned but c'mon! she was a protagonist who deserved top at least be buried and honored by her clanmates!

I'm sad that not only will she and Root will never be together, but I'm also sad for Spotfur :/ during the journey to find the Sisters, Bristle promised to help her raise her kittens and now she's dead too? Poor Spotfur...

I know that she was the best possible option if a protag had to be killed off, but man do I wish it was Bramblestar lol I really don't like him (and half the fandom doesn't either)

BUT the story would be super dull if nothing drastic happened. Bristlefrost will be missed
