My first attempts in pixel art.
Actually I just wanted a cute avatar for my profile, but didn't have the money to commission one of the cool and cute ones I see all around here. So I kinda had no idea what I was doing, but here is the result... ^^ oh, and both are my precious OCs, so they belong entirely to me

This doesn't look much like pixel art because of the blurry outer lines and softness of the shading. It's more like a very small drawing
My own first pixel art attempt is kinna clunky [link] you can notice it's pixelated because of the rough edges.
I can advise you to take inspiration from a few talented pixel art creators like:
*melodeiia , *surlaluna , *Pyromaniac (she has few but exceptional) ~fool (he's really advanced in pixel art
