Continue to work on and define the middle style, of course. It's the best. If you want to make an easier style to work with for more cartoony drawing like the first two, then you really need to clean it up.

You gave me the option of something you weren't proud of, and something you are, and in this case, I think it's probably more helpful to focus on the best, which shows a further level of skill development.
I'm going to lay it flat out--I think you should work that middle style. Unless you intend to work in manga or anime, in which case you would want to keep honing your stylized lineart skills, that central portrait shows the greatest maturity and potential. The color palette, while a teensy bit low-contrast, is well-put together and harmonious. You show a much greater understanding of form and light, and I think your painting skills stand out more due to the lack of lines. Even if you prefer the anime style, practicing further in the realistic painting style will do nothing but improve your anime renderings.
For the central portrait, the shading is a little oily-looking, but that will go away with practice. The hair seems a tiny bit uneven too, but the anatomy is good.
Thank you for sharing, and I hope this was helpful.

My favorite ones is the one in the middle and the second one from the right. I like the one in the middle because the realism is accurate, the skin tones and shading is nicely done. I like the second one because the style is visually appealing, to me. The choice of colors are good and the character's expressions are interesting. I didn't like the other ones so much because the hair looks unevenly layered. In the first from the left, a portion of the hair seems missing from the left side of the head. In the 2nd from the left, the hair on the back of his head is a bit thin. The last one on the right, she needs a bit more hair on her temples. One way to check how you're laying the hair is to draw the shape of the head first, and then add the hair too it, that way you could avoid an oddly shaped head or uneven hair.
