Description This is a landscape art (Background) for the animated feature DiG to hopefully be done by Winter of 2007 or may extend to the Winter of 2008 ... because I'm busy.

Here's what's been done:

1. Make landscape in some 3D software worth making awesome looking landscapes that won't make you look bad.

2. Render the 3D landscape at low res (I don't need super high)

3. Do awesome stuff in Photoshop.

4. Paint a little bit, make it more "hand-painted"

5. Filters ahoy!

6. Do more fancy highlighting, editing, coloring, color correcting.

7. More final touches.

8. Yeah more....

9. Take a coffee break before you start on a new one.

This process takes around 4 hours to complete Not bad.

What the hell!?
The detail, colour contrast is high level.
But the style caught be completely off geard, incredible creativity displayed and it's one of the most refreshing pictures I've seen in a long time.

GREAT WORK BECAUSE IT MAKES ME OFFENDED THAT IT'S PROBABLY BEYOND WHAT I MYSELF IS CAPABLE OF!!!

You need to render first as a picture then take it into photoshop.

Although Photoshop Extended (CS3) does contain a render- system for 3D models, but it is for limited use.

Since this terrain contains about 2,000,000 polygons + with more polys from rocks that are scattered onto the landscape.

This is beyond what Photoshop can import.
