For some time now, I've been wanting to do an empathetic piece on the sirens after their fall, and Aria especially is one whose possible story tugs at my heart strings.

The flow and pacing of the poetic bit here (not the artwork itself, just the text above), was partially inspired by a fanfic I'd read by MetaSkipper just before getting started with the vector work: www.fimfiction.net/story/22595… . The chapters here really are beautiful, imo, if you can get your head into theirs as the writing unfolds. I love the way the words flow there, hence the inspiration for the text above.
