This is a shared character from me and pikapika101 created during one of our roleplays. We both worked on the desing ideas, story and personality

Story

A few years ago, Ludara met a dark spirit called Silver by accedently crashing into him during one of her flights, while she was practicing near misses in the forest. Luckely for Silver, Ludara managed to slow down just enough so the impact would be minimal. Ludara apologised for the inconvenience she caused. Though, Silver seemed to be acting strange and tried to get away from her. Out of confusion Ludara asked what was wrong with him, to what he responded "Stay away from me" and ran into a cave to hide from her.
This specific behaviour from Silver sparked something within Ludara as she seemed to recognize this behaviour from herself. Without hesitation, she went after the dark spirit as she feared he might do the same as she once did. When she entered the cave, she found herself to be surrounded by spider webs. She carefully walked further. She heard something crawing behind her. When she turned around there was nothing there. She planned to walk further, but quickly found out her leg was grabbed by a string of silk. She was quickly pulled deeper in the cave, where she met a huge spider face to face. Ludara tried to blast it with one of her fire balls, but oddly enough it seemed to have no effect on the spider. It started to wrap Ludara up in a cocoon of silk to then feast on her. Unable to move Ludara only could watch what was happening to her and soon will meet her end.
When the spider was done with her, it raised up its front legs ready to finish Ludara off. Ludara closed her eyes to not see what was about to happen; though, after about five seconds, still nothing had happened to her. She opened her eyes and saw the spider holding onto its head, like it was struggling in its mind. It then quickly ripped open the cocoon Ludara was in.
"Please run, save yourself. I can't resist much longer": the voice that came from the spider sounded exactly like the spirit she crashed into. She quickly started to run, but right at the exit she stopped and turned arround. She couldn't leave the spirit like this. She was knowing how awful being lonely and isolating yourself can be. She wasn't planning to leave this spirit up to the same fate she putted on herself. She approached the spider as it still was trying to resist the rage that was build up within his darkness. It tried to get Ludara away not wanting to hurt, but Ludara wasn't going to leave him like this and tried to bring the spider back to his senses. After a long while the spider calmed down and slowly returned to its spirit-self again.

Many months passed. Ludara was visiting this spirit almost daily and helped him to get calm whenever he loses control again, slowly learning him how to do it himself. A big bond was growing between them that was getting stronger by each day that was passing, that became more than just friendship.
One day something was about to happen that would change the relation between them. When Ludara came near the cave, she saw Silver all panicked: "Ludara! quick! It's an emergency!" Ludara immediately followed Silver.
He led her inside Black Roots Burrows as deep within the darkness: he had found a spirit leaf behind a row of crusher traps. Ludara understood what she had to do: "I'll get it", she said as she was way faster than Silver at flying, and could easily get through without being crushed. "Be careful", Silver said, and saw Ludara blasting off trough the trapped area. The crushers smashed the ground behind Ludara, but she was too fast to get caught under them. From her feet she shot fire balls, destroying the traps mechanism completely, so it could no longer harm anyone else. On the other side she took the leaf and brought it. Silver was happy but saw a sad look on Ludara's face. "What's wrong?", he said. Ludara showed the leaf being completely lightless: "I am afraid we are too late"
Silver slightly cried for the loss of the light: "It didn't even have the chance to be born". Ludara approached Silver: "That's sometimes how it is. Let's at least give it a proper funeral". Silver nodded and touched the leaf paying it respect. They held a minute silence. But the silence got interrupted as Ludara and Silver could feel energy burning within them. Ludara felt and saw her light flowing towards the leaf. Silver also felt his darkness flowing towards the leaf. Real soon the leaf was emitting light and dark energy and released all that energy, revealing a small spirit in the arms of Silver and Ludara. She was glowing like a light spirit, but also had dark markings on her. She also had two tiny dragon horns on her head and two tiny spider legs on her back. Full of surprise, Ludara and Silver looked at one and another: "Did we just give life to the leaf again?". They looked at the small spirit, who woke up and looked at them. It tilted her head and said "Mommy? Daddy?"

Personality

Lumini is a small playful spirit child. She loves to play with the ears or chase after other spirit tails or kind animals. Usually she runs on all her four legs doing so. Lumini has a great heart and cares a lot about the well-being of other friendly spirit or creatures. It doesn't matter what kind of spirit or creature it is, she respects everyone for who they are. When someone is upset or goes through hard times she always wants to help or try to cheer them up. She is scared of beings who aren't so nice and tries to hide from them, preferring be behind her parents. From time to time she can be sensitive.
