The second drawing of the first hand study assignment.I reeeally love this drawing~ I think it turned out great, again especially for just using my mechanical pencil to shade it in a sketchy style. Yup. Thought this picture looked epic when I found it, and that's why I chose to draw it.

Your shading is amazing! I'm still learning how to shade properly. Mine usually end up the same shade of grey. -_-

Thank you! Yeah, getting various values can be hard. One thing that might help is to not be afraid to go darker the more you get into the shadows, I mean, you can usually erase, right~?
Also, something my art teacher told me was that if there's an area of the picture you're referencing/drawing that is pure black, make sure you go black there, never be afraid to go dark. Maybe that'll help a tad...?
