Part of a set of Photo Manipulations I'm calling Get Chissed

When I write an OC, I like to have a certain picture in my head of what that person looks like, so I need to come up with someone whose face is going to stick with me.

The girl this time is Megan Fox. This is my second pic of Megan as a Chiss, and I think I like the hair here better as it is less blueish over all but still has that hint of blue for a true blue-black hair color. The more I look at her, though, the more I think this face fits better for Ar'alani than for my OC, Thunirris. Or maybe this is what Thalias looks like?

Someone else who did Chiss photo manips mentioned how very difficult it is to leave any kind of human skin-colored makeup on Chiss characters without it standing out in a clownish way. I completely agree and I would just like to point out that the same goes for human-colored teeth.

My personal trick to solving this was the same as with the makeup, which comes down to one word: desaturation. I did the teeth and lips separately, and I tried to give her more of a lavender color lip gloss...which I think is likely to be that Chiss women call a "natural" lip color. However, this looks a bit too pink to me now that I've had some time away from the pic.
