Maybe on one of my stops I can poke a lens inside for some inside photos. 📷

Never got closer then a few meters of it. In respect for owners, and safety. But after two times stopping there, and nobody saying anything, I might try a closer look.

I am still betting on a decade before it all falls down. Barring some intervention. Still got to hit up the local historical society to get some info on it. Might make for an interesting coffee table photo book.

And I be sitting on a mountain, with another blown radiator hose on the truck. Waiting on a service tech to show up, so I can get the truck repaired and load to final. Gota love Mondays!
Just last Thursday night I blew a radiator hose on a different mountain pass. This loaner truck is being problematic, to say the least.

Well if it keeps blowing hoses it's probably a bad radiator and needs a rerod

Or old hoses. Eather way, it is not fun! Tech is working on it now, but may have to go back to the shop for parts.

I remember back in the days when you could take a full size brass radiator and have it pulled very easily because it was only held in by three bolts on each side and maybe one in the bottom and they could pull the top and the bottom caps off re-rod it and flush it out put it back together repaint it and Wallah no problems now you got to just replace the dang radiator in anything later than 1980

Yup, solder repairs on copper radiators are a thing of the past. EPA lead regs and aluminum cores mean more scrap then rebuild.
I stopped working on my cars when it required a computer to work on them.
