Might i give you a little tip? if you use a lower iso you get less of that "static" (offcourse youll need to offset that with a longer exposure time)

Thank you for a input. I purchased the camera from a pawn shop with out a manual, so I have been using the automatic functions. Looks like I should really down load a manual, so I can play around with the manual settings.
