I love them as a couple.
Nitori is is such an awesome character. I know she's supposed to be shy, but I can't stop imagining her as the super friendly neighborhood kappa. I dunno. :/

Ahaha, I guess I'm really into badass, charismatic Remilia, so seeing her acting like a baby annoys me because it feels very out of character (lol, talking about a touhou character being ooc *shot* /I'mreallystupid)
Maybe it wouldn't bother me so much if it were some else other than Remilia.
Though I admit that I enjoy the "uu~ uuu~" Remi when it involves pedo-Sakuya. Because it's perversely funny.
Then again, this is just me complaining about memes I don't like. I'm pretty sure some people despise memes I myself find pretty funny.

Well, they'r doing the same for Flan, making her incredibly cute, or kinda-and making Patchy go "Mukyu" and such. It's not like Remi is the only one with such fandom jokes-it's just that it's too easy to tell the difference.
I myself hate the fanjokes 'bout Udonge, those 'bout her being useless or everyone bullying her. She's 5th level boss dammit, what could be useless about all of that and her helping Eientei prople (and others at times incidents)? Dude, fandoms these days... XD

I don't really like what they're doing with Flandre and Patchy, either. I think the problem with over-cutefying the characters to that extent is that it kind of defangs them? Leaves them as a no-dignity laughingstock.
Which probably isn't bad in and of itself, but when it becomes the norm, it's kind of annoying for people like me who want their badass characters to stay badass.
Yeah, that Reisen meme got annoying pretty quickly. Maybe the thing with that kind of fanjokes is that they start out being pretty funny. But then it becomes so popular that it's used everywhere, to the point that it becomes the main interpretation of said character. I dunno. :I

...well, you could COMBINE both badass and cute to the point of "Badass Adorable" and "Adorable Badass", making Remi charisma break WITHOUT charisma break, or making her look badass while she's cute chibi. This kind of thing could be, maybe, even TOO awesome XD
