This is another illustration for my book of mythical creatures from around the world, if I ever complete it!

The Adlet is an evil human-dog hybrid from Inuit (Eskimo) mythology. A girl named Niviarsiang married a large dog and had 10 children; 5 were Adlets and 5 looked like regular dogs. The five who looked like regular dogs were sent away on a boat, where they landed in Europe and became the ancestors of the Europeans. The five Adlet children became a race of monsters that terrorized the Inuit people ever since.
