I originally drew this a long time ago, around 2002. It was just the outlines and black parts, done with a Sharpie on a sheet of printer paper. It was intended to depict a story character of mine named Ember, although this scene was not in the story.

I just rediscovered this drawing a couple weeks ago, and decided to scan it and color it digitally. I am pleased with the digital airbrushing and will be doing a lot more of this from now on.
