Welp, I am getting a lot of different interpretations with this comic, even tho I had a set story in mind

My interpretation is that yellow chick panics in any situation he sees two chicks.

Goki spots a pair of his friends giving off smoke. "Oh noez!" thought Goki. "They're exhaust vents aren't working!" So he rushed past the pair of giant Yoshi's Island villains to save his friends before their 3 month/3000 mile warranties expired. So he beat up the smoke they gave off from their bodies and stuffed them into tiny spray bottles for his friends to enjoy.Β

Literature students are always taught to see the title as a clue of what the poem might be
Well... An innocent little chick gets into the 'danger alley' and then the 'dangerous chicks' looms over her, but this is all in her imagination as they were actually cleaners cleaning a really dirty place. (my first glance had me somehow thinking the chicks were dust particles-)
Basically if I were to get this question in kindergarten they would've made me repeat nursery XD

Not really sure what's going on haha. Perhaps the yellow chick thought the two white ones were seedy guys smoking but actually they just really love air fresheners?? And also the yellow chick needed to pass through the alleywhere to get somewhere??

The chick sees the other two chicks on the way it has to pass. There are this clouds over their heads which look like they are steaming from anger.Β
2. Panel
The chick is using all its courage and runs past the two other chicks, but they notice the scared chick.
3. Panel
Oh noes, it seems like they got the poor chick! There is a giant cloud that clearly indicates it gets beat up by those evul two chicks!
4. Panel
Turns out the other two chicks were cleaning something all the time and used some water spray bottles which produced the clouds.Β

Ok here's my interpretation (no cheating by reading other comments!)... she goes into an ally and is afraid of two dodgy blokes only to realize they are cloud sprayers? The joke being that it looks like she's entered a scuff but in fact it was just a cloud created by their spray bottles? Correct? I like the dark coloring and the lighting in this strip!

haha! I thought the big ones looked like smoking troublemakers, so our little friend tried to run past them and avoid a confrontation.... but when they get close enough, the smoke turns out to actually be happy friendly perfume!
