Wheee~ Hooray for color!

Okay, before I say anything else: Albel!hair makes Yuugi!hair look like NOTHING!!! Drawing his hair was easy (only took me like... a minute), but coloring it killed me, as well as confused me. In the official art and in-game character portraits, his hair is dark brown and blonde. But, in the official 3-D art and in-game, his hair is black with blonde pieces. X_X So, I went around looking at Albel art, and decided on what seemed to be the general consensus, as you can see.

His eyes were confusing too. In the official drawn and 3-D art, they're red; but in-game they look lavender-ish to me. o.< Maybe it's just me.

That claw of his also killed my steel-colored pencil. I was going to draw another pic today, but I can't hope to color it without that pencil. I'll have to bribe my dad into taking me to A.C. Moore tomorrow.

At any rate, I'm really liking Albel, which just scares me 'cause I haven't fangirled over a character this much since I first saw Yuugiou three years ago. He's just... so freakin' cool! I can't even put it into words.

I might also try drawing a pic of him and Fayt together. They seem like a pretty good crack!OTP.

The fact that in my game, Albel's going to have, like... 82 emotion points with Fayt once I have him call Sophia an idiot has NOTHING to do with it.
