Temeraire and Volatilus (Volly for short) from Naomi Novik's "His Majesty's Dragon" series. Go read those books. Buy 'em and read 'em over and over again.Both dragons are fully grown, Volly is just very small (or is Temeraire very big?)
I've been experimenting more with using fabric paint on my dragons. In this case, "puffy paint" as it comes in those very convenient little bottles.
Though he's only about 10 in long in this plushie form, he's actually bigger than the largest horse. He's a courier and is very fast. Temeraire is a mighty fighting dragon who can eat an elephant for breakfast, so the scale here might be...slightly off.
Volly prefers to eat cows.

Until you have made yourself a dragon costume and invited your friends to ride around on your back, you are no hardcore fanboy. Buying a soft sculpture model of a dragon is hardly scratching the surface of fanboyism.

Yes, I noted in the picture's description, in a roundabout way, that Temeraire should be bigger, or Volly should be smaller. Nice of you to link me to a picture, though!
Unfortunately, I've only made two patterns for dragons - big and small. So I used those.
